North House
A warm, modular identity for an architecture practice designing homes around light, landscape and daily life.
A warm, modular identity for an architecture practice designing homes around light, landscape and daily life.
The brief
North House had grown through referrals, but its visual identity still looked like a small residential office. The team needed a system that could express warmth and precision without borrowing the cold visual language common in architecture.
Our approach
We built the identity around the idea of measured openness. A restrained wordmark, generous margins and a material palette create calm, while a flexible grid gives the studio room to publish plans, photography and short observations without forcing every project into the same composition.
What changed
The new system works across proposals, site signage, project books and a lightweight portfolio site. It gives the practice a recognisable presence while keeping the architecture itself at the centre.
The identity feels considered, but never louder than the work.
