A portfolio platform for a motion studio balancing commercial commissions, experiments and collaborative films.

The brief

Monolith's previous website relied on autoplay reels and project grids, making different kinds of work feel repetitive and difficult to understand.

Our approach

We created a slower, more editorial viewing experience. Projects can combine film, process stills, credits and short reflections, while the archive remains quick to scan.

What changed

The new platform gives each commission its own pace and has made experimental work more visible alongside commercial projects.

Motion needs context as much as it needs a play button.
